Animals and Religion Discussion Panel

Animals and Religion: How Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism shape our relationship with animals

Monday, December 11 // 7:30-9:30 PM EST

NYU Global Center for Spiritual Life
238 Thompson Street Room C95, New York, New York 10012

Joshua will join a panel discussion presented by the Catskill Animal Sanctuary

Throughout the centuries, we have looked to religion to educate, guide and inspire us to live good and moral lives. Join our esteemed panel to examine the interconnectedness of these religions regarding the responsibility we humans owe and the impact we have on the animals with whom we share the planet. We’ll also explore how faith and belief relate to evolutionary consciousness and our vision of the future.

PLEASE NOTE: The event is free, but advance registration is required and you’ll need a photo ID for admittance. Please arrive early (with ID) to allow for extra time to gain entrance to the venue due to security practices of NYU.
