DESCRIPTION:Due to the rising concern over COVID-19\, this trip is being postponed.  \nJoin us for a group trip to the Times Square Church for Sunday morning services. \nTSC has a very large and incredibly diverse congregation\, not to mention\, one of the most phenomenal choirs in New York City.  \nIf you would like to attend\, please “purchase” a ticket so we can keep a count of how many people are going. After a certain number of people\, we have to register with their hospitality team.  \nServices start at 10 am but we were advised to arrive around 9 am. We will have a chance to meet with some of the senior staff when services conclude.  \nCheck this page for directions and parking validation information.

The High Line—a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side—represents an innovative transformation of an urban landscape from derelict to inspiring. \nThere is a connection to be made between this kind of creative recycling and the ability to perceive purpose and Divinity beneath the rubble of consumer culture. The High Line also reminds us of the Gita’s call to transform what appears useless in the material world into something supremely useful\, as an expression of devotion. The tour will be led by a High Line docent. Come explore the background to this rejuvenated period of New York City history and discover connections between urban living and progressive Bhakti thought. \n\nSchedule\n9:45 am – Meet on the High Line at Gansevoort St. (Please be on time.
